Lilly’s Cozy Cove vacation home was created by a duo composed of a chef/teacher imported from Chicago, and a Doctor of Anthropology/teacher/gardener who grew up in Croatia and lived in the US for 2 decades, before returning back home. The first part of our life partnership we spent in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, and are now realizing our next dream, in a cove of a small village of Tisno on the Croatian coast.
We are closely watching the Covid-19 situation and following the cleaning and disinfecting recommendations by WHO and Croatian Agency for Public Health.
At Lilly’s Cozy Cove, we open our door to welcome you into our comfortable and eclectically decorated rooms, with a view to the sea and/or our scented, colorful and bountiful garden for the enjoyment of all of your senses.
In the morning, wake up to the lively chirping of the birds. Start your day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee, sipped slowly while sitting outside on the balcony, looking out to the sea or our garden buzzing with bees....

Our house is located in a quaint village of Tisno, near Šibenik. Tisno is partially located on the mainland and partialy on the island of Murter. Our B&B is on the mainland. Traveling by car, we are 3.5 hours from Zagreb, an hour south of Zadar, 1.5 hours north of Split, and 3.5 hours north of Dubrovnik.

From Split or Dubrovnik, take higway E65, which is a 4-lane road, except the last 1/3 of the way, when it turns into a 2-lane road. This section can be slow moving, turning a 3.5 hour trip into a 7 hour trip. A plentiful of coffee shops and restaurants in the small towns along the way offer pleasant break spots.

Our Commitment to the Enviornment
We believe in sustainable living and life choices that minimize our impact on Nature.
Our apartments feature comfortable beds, dressed in 100% cotton linens, and washed with a fragrance-free detergent.
We rely on using natural light and Dalmatian breeze to keep us cool during the summer months, as much as possible. Our three units have an AC, but we strongly encourage our guests to turn the AC off when away and only use it during the hottest days.
We use mercury-free, LED lights, and encourage the use of lamps, instead of overhead lights. We ask our guests to please turn the lights off when away to help us decrease our carbon footprint.
Each apartment has a mixed recycling bag. The yellow recycling can is located in our front yard and is for mixed recycling.
We also compost. Each apartment has a dish with a lid under the sink for vegetable scraps and coffee grains.
Also at your disposal are fabric grocery bags and upcycled produce bags found in each apartment.
